Mount Bromo (Indonesian and Javanese: Gunung Bromo) is an active somma volcano and part of the Tengger mountains, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters (7,641 feet) it is not the highest peak of the massif, but the most famous.

Our first serious trip out of Europe. Mixture between discovering and relaxing. Just getting surprised by a completely different country, environment, climate. Tropical days: 12 hours day 12 hours night. Extremely easy-going country, but not one country. A kind of continent where we have only seen a small part of Java and Bali.
